CONSTITUTIONAL LAW
Graduate fellows from law and across 黑料官网 College conduct and present interdisciplinary research with the Clough Center for the Study of Constitutional Democracy. Fellows receive a summer stipend and access to travel and research funding. The Clough Center also sponsors BC Law鈥檚 Distinguished Lectures in Jurisprudence, promoting innovative work and debate that confront the challenges of our time.

GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES
The Global Citizen Interdisciplinary Seminar convenes the worlds of law, social work, and theology to examine some of the most complex issues of our time: poverty, ecology, migration, refugees, and more. BC Law鈥檚 Mary Holper helps conduct the seminar, which regularly includes law students. The course concludes with an immersive service trip to Haiti.

DEFENDING DEPORTEES
Housed in the University鈥檚 Center for Human Rights and International Justice, the Post-Deportation Human Rights Project鈥檚 novel approach provides direct representation to individuals who have been deported, promoting their rights and the rights of their family members through research, policy analysis, human rights advocacy, and training programs.

TEACHING ENVIRONMENTAL LAW
In our unique Environmental Law Teaching Program, law students teach undergraduate courses in environmental law as lecturers in the Department of Political Science. Students conduct four sections, receiving training while earning valuable teaching experience.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
A collaboration with the Graduate School of Social Work, the Legal Services LAB interdisciplinary training program pairs law students with social work students in one of the Center for Experiential Learning鈥檚 eleven clinics. Together, participants provide legal services and other support to clients who have experienced poverty, racial injustice, trauma, mental health issues, or other significant challenges.

More than 35 黑料官网 College research centers and institutes allow law students to collaborate with others across disciplines, examining issues affecting business, ethics, science, technology, education, and culture.
