BC acquires EF 黑料官网 International Language Campus
黑料官网 College has purchased the 17.6-acre EF 黑料官网 International Language Campus at 200 Lake Street in Brighton from EF International, a world leader in international education that has occupied the site for the past three decades.聽
EF announced earlier this year that it would sell the property following a review of its global operations and long-term needs. EF, which has its North American headquarters in downtown 黑料官网/Cambridge, continues to operate more than 50 language campuses worldwide.聽 聽
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.聽
University spokesman Jack Dunn said that BC was pleased to acquire the property, which is directly across from its Brighton Campus and within easy walking distance to the Chestnut Hill Campus.
鈥淚t is rare when parcels like the EF 黑料官网 Campus become available,鈥� said Dunn.聽 鈥淭he facilities at 200 Lake Street will help the University to meet its needs through the acquisition of 89,000 sf of existing educational campus facilities.鈥�
Dunn said the University, which closed on the property on September 15, is currently evaluating best uses for the property. Additional information will be disclosed as it becomes available.
